Possible Futures is a personal foresight tool in private preview, built and run by one person. These are the terms, in the same plain language as the rest of it.
The preview
The hosted edition is provided as is, while it is being built. Things may change, break, or be reworked between visits. I will treat your data with care (see the privacy page), but the service itself carries no uptime promise and no warranty.
Your writing is yours
Everything you write here, and everything generated from it, belongs to you. I claim no rights over your Book, your Compass, your letters, or anything else under your name, and you can export or delete all of it at any time.
What the AI writes is a draft
Scores, summaries, and cover letters are produced by a model reasoning from your documents. They can be wrong, and sometimes confidently wrong. Read what it writes before you send it anywhere that matters. You are the author of record.
Your decisions are yours
Possible Futures is a thinking tool, not a professional advisor. Nothing here is legal, financial, career, or employment advice, and its scores and suggestions are opinions produced by software. What you do with them, which roles you pursue, what you send, what you decide, is your call and your responsibility. You use the tool at your own risk.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss that comes from using Possible Futures. That includes a job you did not get, income you did not earn, a decision you made with its help, or data lost or exposed despite reasonable care. If a court ever decides otherwise, my total responsibility to you is capped at what you paid to use the tool, which during the preview is nothing.
Funded usage and your own key
Some accounts come with a small funded allowance of AI usage, covered personally by me. It is a gift with a cap, not a subscription. When it runs out you can add your own Anthropic key, and from then on Anthropic bills you directly under their terms.
Fair use
Use the tool for your own search. Do not probe it for holes, hammer it with automated traffic, resell access, or use it to harm anyone else’s systems. Rate limits exist and accounts that abuse the preview can be suspended or removed.
Ending things
You can delete your account from Settings whenever you like, and the deletion is immediate and total. I can suspend accounts that break these terms. If the preview itself ever winds down, you will get notice and time to export.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, this page will say so plainly and the change will be visible before it applies to you. Questions to hello@possible-futures.life.
